Kgomotso Tabane is the founder of Africa Creatives, which is an organization that provides entrepreneurs in the creative industry with business and entrepreneurship skills training that will enable them to start up new enterprises or expand their existing ones. Africa Creatives vision is to foster a culture of entrepreneurship within the creative industry and equip its entrepreneurs with the skills and resources they require to run sustainable and scalable businesses. Africa Creatives is one of the recipients of a funding competition run by the United States African Development Foundation.
She has over eight years experience in brand management and business development for large multinational organizations such as L’Oreal and Coca-Cola. Kgomotso wants to use her experience and expertise to empower young entrepreneurs within Africa’s creative industry.
Kgomotso is also a 2014 Mandela Washington Fellow, which is a program initiated by President Obama for Young African Leaders and she is also a One Young Ambassador.
